I've been reading the Skeptic's Annotated Bible, and there's a link there to a calculation of the number of people explicitly killed by God in the Bible (Answer: 2,270,365), and how many people were implicitly killed by God (includes estimates of the people killed in Noah's Flood) (Answer: 32,920,770)

Almost 33 million is a lot of dead people, sure it's not all at once, but still. How could anyone believe the Bible is literally true and still believe that God is entirely good and just?
